Chiang Mai Arrival

Jul. 3rd, 2010

Well we’ve arrived in Chiang Mai and so far have attended a cooking school, watched the World Cup in the middle of a closed down night market and are generally just finding our way around this new city. It is much less condensed then Bangkok, which is a nice relief. It’s to bad but we can’t photograph most of the hand crafted goodness being sold here, as the merchants and crafts people will not allow tourists to document their wares. Our elephant day will be coming soon, so check back for some great photos of us washing, riding, feeding, swimming and more with Moonpok and Saitong.

Goodbye Chiang Mai

Jul. 14th, 2010

We will be leaving for the Islands tomorrow, so excited to sit on the beach and get away from the hustle and bustle of bigger cities. Chiang Mai we will miss you, you where nice to us and we really enjoyed what you had to offer. Still there is so much to do, Lanna province we will be back when we need to decorate our first “real” home.
